NaNoWriMo
17 Oct
The first time I heard about NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) was back in either 2001 or 2002. I was a member of The Young Writers Club, and another person was talking about having to write 50,000 words during the month of November. I didn’t hear anything else about it for another two years.
Now NaNoWriMo attracts tens of thousands of writers. Only a precious few ever complete their novel, but most do get a fair ways into it. The goal, as mentioned already, is to write at least 50,000 words in November That’s over 1600 words a day, which is no mean feat.
If you’re interested in participating this November, head on over to http://www.nanowrimo.com. And if you are planning to participate, let us know what your novel is going to be about.

I did this last year, and it’s a total blast. I’m doing The Novel House this year. It’s about a woman whose legs are paralyzed living in a huge cabin for the winter. But then this crazy stalker dude starts, well, stalking her.
That’s it, in a nutshell.

I’m doing nanowrimo this year, and I am so excited. My novel is about five friends who are chosen to becomethe next guardians of the night (leaders in the werewolf community) but trust me, it is wasy less cheesier than it sounds.
A Scavenger/Fool fest. ^_^ I didn’t win last year, but I’m hoping this year I will, as I know now to cheat right from the beginning rather than starting on the 25th.
this will be my first Nano! I would not have heard about it if it weren’t for YWS.
Anyway, i think I’m going to cheat and add on to the novel I’m working on– fix it up a little/re-write a little.

P.S.– It’s in my portfolio
11,000 words and all! or something like that!
sorry for the double post but i don’t know how to edit in this blog, can i?
Anyway the story is about three witch sisters on a quest and along the way they kill people, nature kills them, and they do time traveling and meet people from their secretive past and kill their evil cousin ruby who they thought couldn’t get out of the portal they sent her to, but they forgot about her ther power. anyway, they ruin into many people that want to help them or kill them, they get locked in dungeons and chant magic spells, they lose their powers and get them back. talk to their dead mother and things like that. they find their true selfs and in the end I’m planning to have a big thing that I’m not telling just yet,
In the end they come out weaker in power but in a sense stronger as sisters and people. so yeah…
