Created in November 2004, the Young Writers Society (YWS) is the largest and unarguably the best Web site for young writers.  Created as a simple forum by Nate in order to provide a writing community for former members of the defunct The Young Writers Club, YWS now features its own e-zine, over 25,000 poems & stories, nearly 3,000 members, and a monkey.  Moving forward, our objective is to encourage creative writing as a pastime.
