Creative Catastrophe- G

And this next letter for Creative Catastrophe is the lovely G, which stands for Google Gallivanting, because everyone loves Google. This week requires writing a poem, because everyone loves poetry as well.

The first step is easy. Just write a poem, and then copy it into the Google Translate box and translate it into a few languages and then back into English and see what comes up. The results are often pretty interesting, and who knows, maybe you’ll end up with a better poem than what you started with!

Bonus: If you speak another language even a little bit, try to write the poem in that language yourself, first, before translating.

As always, have fun. Leave your finished challenge in the lovely forum: http://www.youngwriterssociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=100125

And of course, my example: http://www.youngwriterssociety.com/blog/Cailey/index_b-59512.html

Cailey

I've been writing since I learned how to talk. I love stories and I love words.
